This new Guild range has me extremely impressed! Great tone woods, clear use of technology to produce incredibly well-playing instruments, but also, wonderfully organic-feeling and sounding guitars. I say all of the above because the price point belies the quality. The M-240E is ideal for fingerpicking and strumming chords. The compact size of this one could make for a neat travel companion. (Also one that doesn’t talk all day or get drunk and you have to carry them home! Actually, it’s the perfect travel companion! Alas, I digress…) Solid top over an arched mahogany back produces a beautiful even and well-balanced tone amplified perfectly with a Fishman GT-1 preamp system. Can’t go wrong here! New with a gig bag.
