B C Rico Eagle - 1979
By BC Rico
BC Rich had some Eagle guitars made in Japan back in the day and this is one of them. These are pretty rare birds! The guitar feels woody and organic, yet is very clever circuit-wise giving you a wide array of sounds with a mixture of active and passive controls and outputs. The switching does a lot and it’s for the guitar player who needs versatility! It plays incredibly well, has a palm-fitted neck and the Grover Imperial tuners are a lovely touch. It’s worth mentioning that this guitar was designed to be well-balanced; the lower cut out sits over your leg nearly making the guitar sit and balance all by itself. The DiMarzio pickups sound great and provide you with an underlying rich and warm tone across the board. This fine bird comes with a gig bag.
