Mosrite Mini Sunburst - c.1995
By Mosrite
Absolute killer Mosrite Mini, made in Japan at the Kurokumo factory in the mid 90’s. These are super-hard to find and are fast becoming collectible because they are actually good-playing guitars. This one features the German carve body, just like a big Mosrite, (I mean a normal Mosrite), great build quality, nice frets with plenty of meat and no wear. But wait, there’s more! Mosrite raised logo pickups sound awesome; the bridge pickup has a crisp and punchy tone and the neck pickup is sweet as honey! These only have a two-position mini-switch from the factory but I reckon it would be an easy mod to pop a three-way mini-switch in. The neck is easy to play despite the smaller scale length, stays in tune and it’s tuned to A, similar to a baritone guitar, or better still, think; a capo on the fifth fret, and you’ll have a pretty good idea of what this one sounds like. This would make a great travel guitar. Condition is excellent and it comes with its original Mosrite gig bag, which is pretty darn cool in itself! I put a 9 volt battery in one of the pics to give an idea of the guitar's size.
