The previous owner of this Epi Olympic has fitted a Seymour Duncan Little ’59 pickup into this guitar whilst managing to not change anything inside the guitar. Very clever use of Velcro. The original and healthy pickup (7.02k) is in the case, in case, the new owner wants to go all original again. Having said that, I really like the sound of this guitar with a little humbucker in it; it’s punchy, quiet, has great sustain from that vintage chunk of mahogany wood and generally sits in the mix real well. (The mix in my head, that is.) Frets are in good shape, vibrato works nice, (if you don’t dive bomb!) and the guitar is super light; 5.84lbs/2.65kg! The body has some perfect-looking checking; if you're into that kind of thing, I am. A great little rock guitar and a cool, 60’s American vintage guitar! Comes with a SKB hard shell case.
