Fender Champion Lap Steel - 1955
This old Fender lap steel has that really old-school sweet, top tone you would associate with early American music. It’s been well looked after with some signs of wear that you’d expect from an instrument played on various occasions but perhaps not gigged hard with at any point. The chrome nicely offsets the yellow pearloid and these actually came with an ash body which gives them such a nice dynamic response. Tuners look to be re-buttoned at some stage. A cool vintage piece of gear that, as with most things, are drying up in the market very fast! Comes with its original tweed case.
