Fender Coronado II – 1966
Sorry, this product is sold out!
Fender Coronado’s are a cool hollow-body beast that existed between 1966 and 1969. These babies were designed by Roger Rossmeisl who had previously worked with Rickenbacker. This 1966 version features; a hollow body, two single-coil DeArmond pickups and a cool tremolo system using Fender Mustang parts! This one has an awesome sunburst factory finish with chequer-board binding which only stuck around for about a year (I guess it was more expensive to do so the CBS guys who took over Fender got rid of it?). Lovely-feeling neck on this one too! Neck pickup has been rewound and the neck plate has been changed and it comes in a Hard Shell Case (HSC).
