Franpton Short Scale Bass - 1975
I always thought these were called “Frampton” (after Peter Frampton, maybe?), but when I looked closely it’s actually spelt “Franpton”! Boy, that’s actually hard to say! Great fun short scale bass, has a good tone unplugged that translates to being plugged in. The body and neck are in good nick for its age and have matured beautifully. It’s awesome to play and sounds fantastic. Looks like it’s had some normal-size jazz bass pickups in it and then returned to its original pickups so the routes are a wee bit bigger, but, it’s not that noticeable. Small bass, small price, tremendous tone and bass-ically, (see what I did there?) an easy-playing fun bass guitar! Comes with a gig bag.
