Gibson Maestro FZ-1 - 1962
The Maestro FZ-1 Fuzz-Tone was the first fuzz distortion device to become widely available on the market. The unit was used by Keith Richards on the 1965 hit “Satisfaction” and then, it sold like hotcakes! Between 1962-1965, 5000 units were made, and this is one of them. This is a very early one with a pot code date from 1961. Condition is a bit rough but it sounds amazing! The long lead is the one you plug your guitar into.
