Gibson Skylark Lap Steel - 1966
A beautiful example of a mid 60’s Skylark Lap Steel in Korina wood (aka, African Limba wood). Condition is amazing and its obviously been looked after and not had a hard life. At some stage, this one has had legs screwed into it; these have been covered up with very attractive custom-made pieces of pickguard plastic; this job was done by Stephen Gilchrist, the mandolin master builder. The pickup sounds killer bee! If you’re after one of the three Korina models Gibson made back in the day, then here’s one for you! Comes with its original hard shell case.
