K-Line Texola Single Pickup - 2011
If Marie Kondo were to make an electric guitar, I’m sure it would be just like this one; simple, decluttered and very effective! These great K-Line guitars hail from St. Louis, USA and are made by a chap called Chis Kroenlein. I haven’t played one of these until now and boy am I impressed! It has that Custom Shop No-Caster feel and tone with the comfort and coolness of an offset guitar! It’s like a Jazzmaster went back in time to 1951 and made a baby with an Esquire, with one awesome pickup I might add! It's a really nice weight, (7.68 lbs) the neck fills the hand beautifully like a mid 50's Tele and the finish is a delightfully reliced butterscotch nitro. There’s no decal on the headstock but I’m sure this great builder would most-probably supply a new one. This guitar feels like an old friend yet is reasonably new to the eyes, brilliant! Comes with a gig bag.
