Kingston Coronado Antigua Copy - c.1967
This guitar feels so light, almost like a toy, until you strum it and get hit with a big full body tone! It sounds great! The action is very good, neck is a C shape and comfortable, the tremolo arm is not original to the guitar and could probably do with some fine-tuning. The single-coil pickups sound real good and the best part about this guitar is it’s a cool brown-tinged Antigua-style finish! How good is that? Finish is showing some vertical checking lines mostly on the back and a few minor modifications have been done over the years like a painted tailpiece and strap pin relocation, but it’s in otherwise good condition for its age. These were made by Teisco in Japan and i've never seen another one in the flesh. A collector and a player! No case.
