Moody B.A. 40 Bassman Head - 1967
Modelled on a 60’s Fender Bassman, (surprise, surprise), this old Moody head sounds as sweet as a button. Nice sustain, great tone and not too overbearing; this amp has a sweet sparkly sound. (I’m playing a guitar through a 2x10” box). I haven’t played a bass through it, although I think it would sound awesome, there may not be enough watts to keep up with a drummer, in a live sense. In a studio, I’m sure this head would be suitable for both bass and guitar. Overall, a cool vintage Australian-made amp at a nice price.
