Teisco SM-1 - 1966
My friend says, “Just because it’s cheap, doesn’t mean it’s crap!” That little saying applies to this little guitar; a cool old Japanese-made Teisco from the 60’s which features one pickup that reads around the 5k mark but sounds like a 10k pickup! Loud and full of tone! A new tunematic bridge does the job, neck is fat, but not too fat, action is good, frets are in ok shape, probably around 70% meat left. I love the smaller, almost Mosrite-shaped body! This cute little specimen from the 60’s comes with no case and is in need of a good home studio where it can shine on your next recording!
