Fender Electric XII 12 String Refin Black - 1966
By Fender
Here’s a player-grade Fender Electric XII ready to gig! Both the body and neck have had a refin at some stage of its life and it has a beautifully hand-made pearloid cellulose pickguard as well. Built from the ground up by Leo Fender and with such cool features like, the hockey stick headstock, string-through the body - 12 saddle bridge and split coil pickups. Lots of big names used these, Page, Beck, Dylan, Clapton, Townshend, Petty, Winter, Bart Simpson, Beyoncé, mmm, lost my train of thought there, I don’t think the last two played them. You can hear one on Stairway to Heaven though. This one also has a nice, comfortable C shape neck and sounds great. There’s a little bit of light sanding on the back of the headstock, see pics. Comes with a non-original hard case with a leopard print interior; reminds me of the Cramps. Cool guitar!
