This a Mexican built Classic 50s Tele from 1998. I played it nearly every gig I did, except those with Intoxica ( where I use Teles with overwound pickups for more horsepower ), from when I bought it new until, after a few fret dresses, I was down to the wood. For several years it has sat unloved and unplayed in a closet. Not any more! I finally scrounged the $ and took it in to Ben at Guitar Emporium for a fine re-fret job! It's got the bigger American Standard frets on it now and it plays beautifully! It sings!
