Gibson SG Junior Cherry - 1964

Smooth, crisp, chunky, it’s got it all! Yes, I know it sounds like an ad for a chocolate bar, but this Gibson SG Junior has absolutely everything going on! Firstly, it’s super-clean; you can tell that it hasn’t been played much since 1964! In a way, it’s a shame because it’s such a great guitar; it looks, plays and sounds awesome. Whoever owned this for all those years, and didn’t play it, was really missing out. Oh well, let’s move on; it’s super-resonant, beautifully made, the original cherry finish is spot-on and it’s light as a feather! Frets show no wear. Weight is 5.68lbs/2.58kg, which is basically nothing! There’s only one word in my “vintage guitar” vocabulary that describes this guitar: a cracker! Comes with its original softshell-cardboard case.
