Teisco BR-1 Short Scale Bass - 1968
AKA, the little bass that goes thud! I really like this bass as it’s easy to play and has a very short scale (it measures 24.75”). The set-up nice, it has flat-wound strings and it’s tiny! (Total length is 97cm). Looks are based on the 60’s Mosrite Combo guitar and the sound that comes out of this bass belies the size of the thing! Think; 60’s hollow bass sound ala Bill Wyman and that’ll give you an idea of what this one sounds like. Uses; gigging, studio recording and mirror-gazing whilst wearing it! Comes with a gig bag.
