First thing I noticed about this Corvette is how clean it is! For a guitar from 1964, it’s been well-looked after! Cherry-stain factory finish looks very nice with a wee bit of checking and some fine player’s wear on the back. It features Gretsch’s Hilotron pickups; clean, bright, crisp, spanky; all the above describes these pickups! They sound particularly good in this guitar too. Condition-wise this Gretsch is clean and I don’t think it’s seen too many gigs; it’s in very good condition with minimal dents and scratches and a just a nice clean example. The neck feels good and is nice and chunky, chrome-work looks awesome and the tremolo works nicely too. This is a lovely vintage Gretsch that comes with a hard shell case.
